ANNUAL HEALTH FAIR
KAMPANY holds an annual health fair with an emphasis on screening and preventive medicine. Historically, KAMPANY has partnered with the Korean Nurses Association of New York in the free provision of flu vaccines, screening health panels, and medical education and seminars.
2020 Health Fair
Due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations, KAMPANY and NYKNA provided free flu vaccinations, COVID-19 information, and free masks for uninsured communities in both Manhattan and Queens in lieu of their traditional health fair. In total, 300 free flu shots were administered!
October 2019 Health Fair (Flushing, NY)
The October health fair, geared towards communities in New York, took place at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. Volunteer physicians, nurses, medical students, and translators collaborated to provide patients with free health screenings and preventive care. Medical students led a free infosession regarding the medical school application process afterwards.
