Samuel Cho, MD

President

 

Dr. Cho received his BA from Williams College and MD from New York University (NYU). Dr. Cho completed his residency and gastroenterology fellowship at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Cho is a gastroenterologist in private practice in Flushing, NY. www.atlanticendoscopy.com

Pablo Sung Yup Kim, MD

Immediate Past President

 

Dr. Kim received his M.D. from New York University, and completed his residency and fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital.  Dr. Kim is currently Assistant Professor in the departments of Vascular Surgery and Radiology at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Gerald Suh, MD

Vice President

Dr. Suh received his medical degree from  New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Suh completed his Otolaryngology (ENT) residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital as well as New York University.Dr. Suh is board certified in both the specialties of ENT and Sleep Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and a long-standing member of the national AAO-HNS Sleep Committee, as well as a peer reviewer for the 2 main national ENT journals, the OTO-HNS Journal and the Laryngoscope. He is the medical director of the Night and Day Sleep Labs in Garden City, NY,  Staten Island, NY and Wayne, NJ.

 

 

Joon-Hyuk Kim, MD

Secretary General

 

Dr. Kim received his MD from New York Medical College, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, his cardiology fellowship at Northshore University Hospital, and his electrophysiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center.  Dr. Kim is practicing cardiology at New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital. 

 

Chang Rae Kim, DPM

Asst. Secretary General

 

Dr. Kim received his DPM degree from Temple School of Podiatry Medicine and completed his residency in Podiatry at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY and  his Wound Care fellowship at St. John's Episcopal Hospital. Far Raockaway, NY. Dr. Kim is in private pracitice in Flushing. Dr. Kim also covers the podiatry clinic at Jamaica Hospital and wound care clinic at St. John's Episcopal Hospital. 

Han Kim, MD

Treasurer

 

Dr. Han Kim received his BA from Columbia University, and his MD from Rutgers Medical School.  Dr. Kim completed his residency in radiology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, and his fellowship training in neuroradiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital (www.mainstreetradiology.com). Dr. Kim has previously served as president, and consecutive years as treasurer and scholarship chairperson.

John Kang, MD

Dr. Kang received his BA from Columbia College, and his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine.  Dr. Kang completed his surgery internship at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC, his otolaryngology, face, head & neck surgery residency at SUNY Buffalo, and his facial and plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Dyer Facial Plastic Center, Emory University. Dr. Kang is currently in private practice, with offices in Queens and Manhattan (www.johnkangmd.com). Dr. Kang has previously served as president, and consecutive years as activities/fundraising chairperson.

Yong Kim, MD

Dr. Kim received his BS from Columbia University, and his MD from New York University.  Dr. Kim completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases (NYU), and his fellowship in spine surgery at Texas Back Institute in Plano Texas.  Dr. Kim is Clinical Assistant Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery, and Associate Director of the Spine Fellowship Program, at New York University Langone Medical Center. Dr. Kim has previously served as president, secretary general, and activities/fundraising chairperson.

Jennifer Koo, MD

Dr. Koo received her BA from Harvard University, and MD from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons.  Dr. Koo completed her residency in diagnostic radiology at UCLA, and her fellowship in breast imaging at UCLA.  Dr. Koo practices Radiology at Northwell Health in Manhasset.

Eric Choe, MD

Dr. Choe received his MD from New York Medical College, and completed his residency in general surgery at Maimonides Medical Center, his plastic surgery residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, and his plastic surgery-microsurgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center.

Dr. Choe is in private practice in Manhattan. Dr. Choe has previously served as president, and consecutive years as scholarship chair and community outreach chairperson.

Daniel Kim, MD

Dr. Kim received his BA from Cornell University, and his MD from NYU Medical School.  Dr. Kim completed his residency in ophthalmology at NYU Medical Center, and his fellowship training in cornea at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Kim has built his practice in both Fort Lee, New Jersey and Flushing, New York. In addition, Dr. Kim is the acting Medical Director at St. Mary's Eye & Surgery Center, a state-of-the art open access laser vision correction facility in Palisades Park, New Jersey (www.stmaryseye.com). Dr. Kim has previously served as president.

Dr. Lee completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiology, and has offices in Queens and Long Island. Dr. Lee has previously served as president, and consecutive years as activities/fundraising chairperson.

Kevin Lee, MD

Dr. Park received his BA from Cornell University, and his MD from New York Medical College.  Upon completing his residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore - LIJ, he continued his fellowship training in Cardiology, then Interventional Cardiology, at North Shore - LIJ.  Dr. Park previously served as a director of cardiology and cardiac catherization lab at New York Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Park is currently practicing cardiology at St. Francis Hospital, the Heart Center.
